Golden Rule

Most people are familiar with the Golden Rule: "Treat others the same way you want them to treat you." (Luke 6.31) We think of it as applying to our treatment of other, which it does. But, it also applies to our relationship with our heavenly Father:

A life of gratitude is a healthy life in the truest sense. Those who "Bless Yahweh ... bless His holy name ... And forget none of His benefits" (Psalm 103.1-2) are those He has promised He will pardon "all your iniquities ... heals all your diseases ... redeems your life from the pit ...

"O Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth beneath, keeping covenant and showing lovingkindness to Your servants who walk before You with all their heart" (1 Kings 8.23)

It obviously, then, is the highest priority for every person to choose the better fate. If only every person realized this urgent need and priority.

Often the sale offerings are items of sentimental value to their recent owner, but little material value to prospective buyers. But, shoppers come in hopes of finding at least one item of value.
